Job Overview Responsibilities for Academic Product DesignerCreate design concepts and drawings to determine the best productPresent product ideas to relevant team members for brainstormingSuggest improvements to design and performance to Academic Products.

Employ design concepts into functional prototypesPerform research on product technologies and structures to implement into design conceptsMaintain up to date on current industry trends and market conditionsCoordinate with designers to ensure accurate communication and efficiency in the design phaseModify and revise existing designs to meet customer expectationsQualifications for Product DesignerRelevant work experience as a Academic product designer is preferredExceptional verbal and written communication skillsExcellent eye for aesthetic design and customer appealGood understanding of color science and combinationsArtistic and innovative flairExcellent attention to detailMeticulous and diligentStrong knowledge of the industry and market trendsAble to sit in front of a computer for long hours at a time
