Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Translate a variety of written content from Malayalam to English, including documents, articles, websites, and other materials, while ensuring accuracy and fidelity to the original meaning.
Interpret cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions to convey the intended message effectively in English.
Proofread and edit translated texts to ensure grammatical correctness, clarity, and coherence.
Collaborate with project managers, editors, and other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Conduct research and consult reference materials to ensure accuracy and completeness of translations, especially for technical or specialized content.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive or confidential information.
Communicate with clients to clarify translation requirements, address feedback, and ensure client satisfaction.
Stay updated on industry trends, language developments, and terminology to continuously improve translation quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Fluency in both Malayalam and English, with native or nearnative proficiency in Malayalam.
Proven experience in translation from Malayalam to English, preferably in a professional or academic setting.
Excellent writing and communication skills in both languages, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Strong knowledge of grammar, syntax, and vocabulary in Malayalam and English.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in translation tools and software (e.g., CAT tools) is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Language Studies, or a related field is preferred.

Pay:
₹10, ₹15,000.00 per month
