- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures for real estate activities.
- Stay updated on changes in real estate laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Provide guidance and training to real estate agents and other personnel involved in real estate transactions.
- Review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to identify potential compliance issues.
- Investigate complaints or allegations of non-compliance and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and other stakeholders to resolve compliance issues and mitigate risks.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to continuously improve compliance processes.
- Serve as a point of contact for regulatory agencies and assist with inquiries or audits as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Law, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in real estate compliance, risk management, or a similar role.
- Thorough understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Certification in real estate compliance or related field (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) is a plus.
