    Notice Period:
    Immediate / 15 days / 30 days

    Primary Skills:
    Satisfactory knowledge of Cloud Computing (Azure or AWS)SQL Server provisioning, Patching, Backup and troubleshooting.
    Prepare and upload SOPS \ KB articles for SQL Servers, Azure SQLCoach team members on newer azure features \ servicesHas a good knowledge on assisting Senior management on SOWs \ RFPs \ Critical email communicationsAll versions of SQL Server standalone and Cluster environment database handlingConfiguring and managing backup through native backup methods or popular third part backup toolsCloning the databases based on the requirementListener creation, ODBC connectivity creationsPerformance handling and automation of administrative tasksSQL instance/database UpgradationsExperience on major ticketing toolsExposure in automatic storage managementExperience in all database activities like HA,DR creation and maintenanceEstablish the clustering environment and handling the cluster related issuesExperience on Log-Shipping, DB Mirroring, Always ON and ReplicationsExperience TDE, TLS creationTroubleshooting all issues related to SQL ServerPatch upgradation for SQL Server instanceHandling the clients will be more additional asset

    Certifications Required (any two Preferable)SQL Server certification


    Roles and ResponsibilitiesA successful candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate good knowledge of SQ Servers, SQL PaaS and troubleshooting skills.

    Understand and document technical requirements from clientsUnderstand the SQL Cluster and DR strategies and participate in DR drillsUnderstand Security Guidelines and implement the best practices to improve the security of MS SQLSet up process, services, and tools around cloudValidate the environment to meets all security and compliance controlsAssist the team to develop offerings including proven architectures, proofs of concept, and best practices and procedures for deliverCreate SOPs, KB articles
