Responsibilities

  • Support one or more Agile teams by providing effective collaboration, facilitation, leadership and coaching to support the teams with the agile development process and the delivery of product teams. Facilitate SCRUM ceremonies (Daily Scrum, Sprint
  • Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives), team charters and backlog refinement.
  • Provide leadership and conflict resolution for team members and cross commit partners to ensure product team deliverables are met. Guide team members on Agile practices and problemsolving using Agile principles, SCRUM and DevOps frameworks. Remove impediments and identify potential process improvements to help team deliver at a higher level.
  • Work with Product Owners to develop, manage, and continuously refine the team's product backlog and to gather metrics and reporting of team's progress on initiatives, so that informed decisions are made to prioritize product backlog. Assist PO with reporting for how the initiatives are going pertaining to product roadmap.
  • Effectively work with business partners, vendors, technology, and Scrum Master peers to develop Agile charter and ensure agreement/adoption of product/project working agreements and goals for team.
  • Utilize all members to help identify potential work for the product backlog for the project/product team.
  • Analyze team processes and utilize team retros to coach best practices, so teams can be more efficient and effective. Look for potential improvement to help team move faster.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required and 7+ years of working experience in agile environment.
  • Demonstrated capability and understanding of Atlassian tools (e.g. Jira and Confluence).
  • Demonstrated experience in working with medium
- to large-scale product initiatives to successful implementation.

  • Effective at building relationships.
  • Highly effective communication skills, including the ability to articulate information to a broad audience.
  • Solid understanding of Agile best practices and experience working on a team as Scrum Master.
  • Experience with SCRUM and DevOps framework in an Agile organization.
  • Able to identify impediments and remove barriers impacting team.
  • Positive and calm demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, A-CSM)
  • SAFe certification (SSM)
  • Proven experience with teams new to Agile and SCRUM.
