As a food safety auditor, your job is to inspect restaurants, QSR, etc. that serve food to ensure they meet all quality and sanitary regulations for handling and preparing food.
A restaurant audit refers to the formal evaluation of a restaurant's facilities, procedures, and practices to ensure that they comply with organizational, regulatory, and industry standards for food safety, hygiene, housekeeping, and maintenance.
Eligibility:
- Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in food or dairy or fisheries or Oil technology or Biotechnology or agriculture or veterinary Science or Bio
- Initial Training
- Successful completion of Accredited Lead Auditor Course in food safety Management System (ISO22000/FSSC Have sufficient Knowledge of FSS Act and regulation. Must have sector specific knowledge regarding Hygiene, Sanitary practices, process knowledge, Allergen management, etc.
- Work and Audit Experience
- Auditor has 24 years of experience with minimum of 10 audits (Third party audits).
Responsibilities:
- Observe the organization's food preparation, handling, storage, and transportation processes
- Interview food preparation, handling, etc., personnel within the scope of the organization's FSMS
- Review the organization's food safetyrelated records and documents (e.g., receiving records, HACCP plan)
- Issue a formal audit report to the organization and certification body, as well as issue ISO 22000 certificate
- Arrange travel means, lodging, etc., when traveling to a client site
- Issue accurate, complete invoice to client in a timely manner
- Conduct timely followups with client
- Report results of food safety audits (audit report) to the organization's Board of Directors and/or to top management.
Age Limit:
not more than 35 years (As per 10th std. Cert.)
Salary Package: 2, 50,000 /- Per Year (Negotiable)
