Job Role:
This is job is for Freelance content writer. Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents, including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. Gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Three or more years of experience as an effective technical writer.
- Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation.
- Ability to deliver highquality documentation paying attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
- Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences.
- Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards.
- Gain a deep understanding of products and services, and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content.
- Research, outline, write and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements.
- Work with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solutions for data compilation and centralized storage.
- Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that adhere to organizational and legal standards and allow for easy data migration.
- Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent voice across all documentation.
