About the job:
Monitors every phase of the development process to ensure that the design and software adhere to company standards.
A software quality assurance engineer helps meet deadlines by breaking up the development process into attainable testing goals and relaying any issues back to the development and team leaders.
We're looking forQA Manual to participate in the development of
GateFi Team.
Responsibilities:
- Document test cases
- Record test progress and results
- Create test plans
- Discover bugs within software
- Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing
- Identify any potential problems that users might encounter
- Research and analyze product features being tested
Your experience and mindset:
- 3+ years experience in the finance/banking/acquiring industry
- IT degree (Computer science/engineering, System Analysis, Information Systems, IT management)
- English (Fluent or native)
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of testing theory (types of testing, testing methods)
- Understanding the principles of Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Compatibility Testing
- Understanding the Software Lifecycle
- Understanding the structure of the test case
- Integration testing experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Rest and gRPC
- Good analytical skills, ability to analyze requirements
- Flexibility, transparency, willingness to establish the necessary contacts
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Strong Experience in API testing (Postman, REST etc.)
- Clear and accurate written and verbal communication is a must
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to listen and respond appropriately to incoming information
- Communication skills and ability to participate in team calls
It will be a big plus:
- Experience in automation of any type of testing (UI, API, work loading)
- Experience with test automation (ideally Java + Selenium + Gherkin)
- Knowledge and/or experience with such tools as Jenkins, IDEA, Postman, TestRail, RabbitMQ, Splunk
