The Pharmacy Assistant is a vital member of the healthcare team, providing essential support to pharmacists in the delivery of pharmaceutical care and pharmacy operations.

This role involves a range of clerical and administrative tasks aimed at maintaining an efficient and customer-focused pharmacy service.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions and overthecounter medications.
Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and organizing pharmaceutical supplies.
Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle financial exchanges with accuracy.
Provide exceptional customer service, including answering queries and directing medicationrelated questions to the pharmacist.
Maintain patient confidentiality and create patient profiles in accordance with pharmacy protocols.
Ensure cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy to uphold health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent; further education in pharmacy services is advantageous.
Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Detailoriented with a commitment to accuracy and the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
A team player with a customeroriented approach and the capacity to work under mínimal supervision.
