    NetApp Storage administration experience
    UNIX/Linux administration experience
    VMWare ESXi experience

    Customer Service Experience

  • Hands on experience on LUN creation, allocation and de allocation of LUNs and LUN Mapping.
  • Management and maintenance of Netapps Storage environment (FAS 2000, 3200, 6000, 8000 series, ONTAP 9, OCUM ACTIVEIQ)
  • Design and implementation of SAN & NAS which includes installing and configuring of Netapps storage boxes specially for iSCSI and CIFS/NFS environment.
  • Should have hands on experience on snapmirror, snapvault, MetroCluster, storage failover.
  • Extensive provisioning, new implementations, large upgrades, or migration of the Storage Arrays.
  • Exposure on Data ONTAP Storage Architecture, Data ONTAP File System, Virtual Storage Tier, Data ONTAP Physical Storage Configuration, Data ONTAP FlexVol Configuration is mandatory.
  • Comprehensive skills are required such as providing in-depth support, and performance management for CIFS & NFS mounts on a NetApp Filer in a multi-protocol environment.
  • Significant expertise is required in the configuration, & support of NetApp storage systems running the Data ONTAP operation system 7.x and higher.
  • A solid understanding of the Write Anywhere File Layout (WAFL) file system, volumes, aggregates, qtrees, exports, SVM, failover groups, LIFs, interface groups, broadcast domain, IPspace.
  • Expertise in implementing NetApp active-active controller configurations to ensure continuous data availability and rapid recovery
  • Understanding of Service Processor/BMC/iLO/RLM functionalities.
  • Knowledge of NetApp hardware components like- Controllers, shelves, ethernet/ FC switches.

    • Basic understanding of SAS, FC, ACP cabling connectivity for Netapp arrays.
