    Description

    Roles andResponsibilities:

    1.Monitorand ensure the production within the costestimate

    Plan organizedirect and run optimum daytodayoperations.

    Allocate themanpower Schedules and inventory needed forproduction.

    2.Ensureprocessquality

    Follow schedulesandstandards.

    Providedirection and leadership to the departmental team to achieve highquality andproductivity.

    Develop systemsand processes that track and optimize productivity and standardsmetrics and performance targets to ensure effective return onassets.

    3.Coordinateon training anddevelopment

    Maintainefficient workforce.

    Facilitateemployee hiring training development and performanceevaluations.

    Ensures trainingand education on specific tasks safety issues and company relatedfunctions

    Addressemployees issues orgrievances

    4.Inventoryand budgetcontrol

    Determine thematerials budgetinvolved

    Maintainadequate supply of departmental shop supplies andmaterials

    Develop costcutting mechanisms by replacement/substitution of existing processand materials incompositions

    Submitsdepartment budgets and assists in the capital equipmentimplementationprocess

    Assure propermaintenance of equipment tools andhousekeeping.

    OtherSkillsrequired:

    • Provenexperience in strategic planning or executivesupport
    • Stronganalytical and critical thinkingskills
    • Excellentcommunication and presentationskills
    • Proficientin MS Office and strategic planningtools
    • Abilityto work collaboratively and thinkstrategically.
    • Knowledgeof the manufacturing / Fabrication industry would be an addedadvantage.
