Job Description:
- Provide sustaining engineering support for Cable & Interconnect designs.
- Provide immediate and timely resolution to design related production issues (Problem reports Management) encountered during the build process (system level).
- Read, interpret and create electrical schematics, cable drawings, system interconnects and BOMs.
- Interact with Engineering design group/Cross functional teams/Supplier for design changes & update drawings/documentation
- Electrical/Electronic Component selection and Obsolescence management and Next Higher Assembly BOM updates
- Good communication and Problem-Solving Skills.
- Electrical/Electronic Components selection, Cable & Interconnect design and circuit theory knowledge
- Proficient in use of any one latest electrical CAD tools like ZUKEN, PCAD & ORCAD
- Proficient with one of the Product Life cycle Management tools (Document Change and release Management)
