Job Description:


Responsibilities:


Network Security Operations:
Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls.


Firewall and Intrusion Prevention:

Configure, manage, and optimize firewall and intrusion prevention systems to protect the network infrastructure.

Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents.


Security Auditing and Compliance:

Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Collaborate with compliance teams to address audit requirements.


Network Access Control:

Implement and manage network access control mechanisms to safeguard against unauthorized access.

Enforce security policies related to user and device authentication.


Endpoint Security:

Administer and optimize endpoint security solutions to protect against malware and other security threats.

Implement and manage security measures for various operating systems.


Security Information and Event Management (SIEM):

Utilize SIEM tools to collect, analyze, and respond to security events across different platforms.

Create and maintain correlation rules for effective threat detection.

Incident Response and Forensics:

Develop and execute incident response plans in the event of security incidents.

Conduct digital forensics investigations to determine the root cause of security breaches.


Secure Network Architecture:

Design and implement secure network architectures for heterogeneous environments.

Collaborate with network and systems administrators to ensure security measures are integrated into the infrastructure.


Security Awareness Training:

Provide security awareness training to end-users and IT staff.

Foster a culture of security within the organization.


Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of security configurations, incidents, and response procedures.

Generate regular security reports for management and stakeholders.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in network security administration.

Expertise in securing heterogeneous environments with various operating systems.

In-depth knowledge of firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and network access control.

Experience with SIEM tools and incident response.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security) are highly desirable.

Familiarity with cloud security principles and practices is a plus.


Salary:
From ₹800,000.00 per year
