- The candidate prepares Trademark applications for filing at the Registry.
- Maintaining diaries for deadlines/due dates.
- Physical and digitized file maintenance.
- Convey and draft instructions to foreign counsel regarding trademark matters.
- Coordinates with various in-house departments and oversees outside counsel to ensure deadlines are met.
- Performs searches of the Trademarks Journals and Trademarks Registries online database.
- Prepares documents relevant to oppositions, cancellations, or litigations.
- Develops and executes trademark portfolio reports.
- Develops and files customs recording.
- Supports trademark-related projects and anti-counterfeiting efforts.
- Strong understanding of law and legal principles.
- Experience in preparing legal documents.
- Analytical skills to evaluate legal issues.
- Effective communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Experience in intellectual property law is beneficial.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law or related field.
