Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop PLC programs for Siemens SIMATIC and Mitsubishi Electric PLC systems based on project requirements and specifications.
Design and implement control logic using programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate PLC systems with other automation components, including HMIs, sensors, actuators, and SCADA systems.
Configure and troubleshoot communication networks (e.g., Profinet, Profibus, CC-Link) for Siemens and Mitsubishi PLCs and peripheral devices.
Conduct testing and debugging of PLC programs to verify proper functionality and performance.
Perform onsite commissioning and startup activities, including system integration, parameterization, and optimization.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to maintenance and production teams during installation, operation, and maintenance phases.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in Siemens and Mitsubishi PLC technologies, software tools, and programming techniques.
Document design specifications, programming code, and system configurations for future reference and maintenance purposes.
Adhere to safety regulations and company standards in all PLC programming and system integration activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of [X] years of experience in PLC programming, with a focus on Siemens and Mitsubishi platforms.
Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram.
Strong knowledge of Siemens SIMATIC PLC hardware and software (e.g., S71200, S71500, TIA Portal) and Mitsubishi Electric PLCs (e.g., FX Series, Q Series).
Familiarity with industrial networking protocols and communication interfaces used in Siemens and Mitsubishi PLC systems.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
