    Description

    Job Title: ComponentSpecialist

    RelevantExperience : 1 & Above

    Job Location: Bangalore/Chennai (Open toexplore from other locations who is ready torelocate)

    Job DescriptionSummary

    Responsible andaccountable for evaluation review and clearing of conditions in theunderwriting process based on appropriate underwriting guidelinesand procedures. Also responsible for a pipeline of assigned taskssuch as income review appraisal/condo review or title review.Determine documentation needed and if applicable conditions forloans and clearly communicate directly with required parties toresolve conditions.

    1. The ComponentSpecialist reviews loans to assess risk in compliance with companyguidelines and state and federal reporting guideline and approve ordeclines loans.

    2.Responsible for ensuring data integrity to confirm the accuracy ofautomated underwriting findings.

    3. Adheres to internal underwriting guidelinesinvestor requirements and federal regulations to ensure loanquality.

    4. Verifiesand analyzes all documentation including: credit income appraisaland title information.

    5. Responsible for interacting with MortgageProfessionals or loan processors to obtain information from theborrower or to seek clarification about documents in the loan file.

    6. Effectivelycommunicates required conditions/stipulation and assists wherepossible to expedite the verified approval on purchase loans.

    7. Strictly adheres toall applicable internal NPI policies procedures and protectsconfidentiality of borrower information.

    8. Performs administrative duties as requiredby Management.

    Required Skills:

    • Candidate should haverelevant years of US mortgage underwritingexperience
    • Well versed with FNMA.FHLMC knowledge of GNMA and investor guidelines is an additionalbenefit
    • Should have good analytical andproblemsolving skills
    • Should havedecisionmaking skill when applying in business judgment
    • Evaluate complete loan documents and should provideapproval or denial decision
    • Seasoned income calculation Salaried incomebusiness income retired other income and rentalincome
    • Assets verificationinclude borrower s bank account statement retirement accountsmutual funds and other investments.
    • Validatingand processing the Loan documents on behalf a Mortgage lenderorganization.
    • Evaluating evidence of borrowers willingness and ability to repay the obligation
    • Good communication Presentation skills Selfmotivated andhard working
    • Ready to work inNight Shifts
