Job Overview:

A statistical programmer is responsible for developing, validating, and maintaining statistical programs to analyse and interpret data. They collaborate with statisticians, data scientists, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and efficient data analysis.


Key Responsibilities:


Programming:

  • Write, test, and maintain statistical programs using languages such as SAS, R, or Python.
  • Develop and implement data processing and analysis scripts to support statistical modeling and reporting.

Data Management:

  • Collaborate with data management teams to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Design and implement data validation checks to identify and resolve issues in data sets.

Statistical Analysis:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of statistical models and algorithms.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and outliers.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain documentation for statistical programs, ensuring reproducibility and transparency.
  • Prepare and review documentation for regulatory submissions.

Quality Control:

  • Conduct quality control checks on statistical outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to address and resolve any issues related to data or programming.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with statisticians, data scientists, and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on data analysis strategies.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in statistics, biostatistics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as SAS, R, or Python.
  • Knowledge of data management principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality, reliable results.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Experience:


  • Previous experience in statistical programming in a relevant industry (pharmaceuticals, healthcare, research, etc.).
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards for data analysis and reporting.

Salary:
₹450, ₹480,000.00 per year


Schedule:
