IvyMath Online Math Instructor/Tutor - $8/hour - Part Time - Fully Remote

The Position
You'll be working remotely with students grades as a math tutor helping them with homework. You don't need to do any prep work - all you need to do is show up and teach.

In addition to tutoring, you'll communicate with IvyMath managers to discuss each student's progress, and may write monthly updates for parents.

Hours

We are looking for a commitment of at least 10 hours per week although this may be an even more part-time position to start.

Homework help sessions run online Monday-Thursday. You must have at least 10 hours of availability (Mon-Thurs 6 pm to 4 am EST).


Applicant Requirements

• Must have 10 hours of availability during the 6 pm to 4 am ET Mon-Fri time block
• Must have previous grade 912 math tutoring or teaching experience
• Must have a dynamic personality and an ease working virtually with kids a sense of humor is preferable
• Must have very strong math fundamentals and be able to pass the IvyMath math literacy test
• Must be able to teach math to kids in a clear and fun way
• Must have a computer and reliable hispeed internet service
• Must be punctual and have good time management skills
• Must be a current undergrad student or older
• Must feel comfortable directly interacting with parents to schedule your students
