Assurance Manager - Assessments
**Assurance
Assurance Regional and Location Leadership; Operational Leadership; Functional System Administrators

Role purpose

Support business operations to deliver successful outcomes on projects and foster a positive risk and learning culture. Facilitation of risk based assessments on projects and functions and other assurance activities.

Key accountabilities

Facilitate virtual assessments and Surveillances (e.g. project start up reviews, close out reviews, minimum operating controls assessments etc) to identify, assess and develop plans for key risks and opportunities. Provide analysis to identify common themes and trends.

Facilitate virtual assurance workshops and webinars assisting to build risk and innovation capabilities and knowledge assets.

Support the development of the assurance regional assessment plan, and co-ordinate virtual assessments in collaboration with operations assurance.

Assists with investigating events and conducting risk and lessons learned workshops.

Act as a trusted business partner to the operations assurace group and deliver tasks independently with mínimal supervision.

Metrics & KPIs

Positive feedback from assessments activities and active participation with operations in achieving assurance strategic focus areas.
Completion of planned assessments as per the assurance regional assessment plan

Operational Excellence - Effectively plans and collaboratively delivers outcomes to meet business objectives and stakeholder expectations. Exhibit self-leadership and curiousity necessary for successfully delivering under ambigiuos circumstances.

Analyst:

Researches and breaks down information, identifies interrelationships and makes judgements based on evidence and assumptions to proactively provide relevant insights. Proactively identify areas of high priority and effectively dedicate time to researching key knowledge areas.

Facilitator - facilitates interviews during assessments and able to perform appropriately within a defined framework to meet set goals. Highly communicative and able to craft meaningful messaging clearly.

Self-Initiator - Comfortable with delivering high quality work under mínimal supervision. Ability to own tasks and initiatives and dedicate sufficient time to thinking beyond the scope and adopt a risk based approach to assurance activities.
