Role Overview:


This position will be based in New Delhi, India, and report directly to the Immmigration Supervisor in Glendale, AZ, USA.


The immigration Coordinator will be primarily responsible for collecting, reviewing, and preparing supporting documents for expatriate employees in various countries.

Job duties will include a variety of specialized

administrative tasks, interaction with immigration providers, transferring employees and Bechtel colleagues, and maintenance of accurate data

and status reports.


Role Duties and Responsibilities:


The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collection, review, and preparation of supporting documents required for visa processing
  • Case initiations
  • Monitoring and tracking of open cases
  • Preparation and maintenance of compliance documents
  • Development of internal procedures and process maps
  • Interactions with external immigration providers, transferring employees, and Bechtel colleagues
  • Providing guidance to Bechtel colleagues regarding internal immigrationrelated policies and immigration processes

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in business, HR or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant 3 plus years of work experience
  • Prior direct experience with employerbased immigration matters
  • Prior direct experience in international HR, e.g., international assignment management, expatriate compensation, expatriate tax, etc.

Additional Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage high volume workload, with focus on data integrity.
  • Prior experience with creating and analyzing reports, e.g., Business Objects and SAP Ad Hoc reports
