1) Job Purpose
To be part of the Information Security & Risk team, responsible for CORP & across all HIL locations Security


The IT Security specialist continuously monitors the Organisation's IT Security posture, compliance to target industry standards and technology improvement/upgrade vis-à-vis the newer threat engines.


2) Key Result Areas/Accountabilities:

Supporting Actions

  • IT security Architecture and Posture
  • IT Security Operational & Maintenance Support
  • Ensure remain updated with current Security trends, threats, common exploits, vulnerabilities, security standards, and best practices and provide strategic & tactical advisory on addressing existing and evolving security threats.
  • Should assist in developing Information Security standards, policies and procedures as per industry best practices.
  • Should identify Security gaps and propose controls, based on business, compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Should manage & oversee evaluation and implementation for new solution/tool within IT Security portfolio.
  • Establish an IT Security Risk and Compliance governance framework.
  • Define Security metrics/KPI's
  • Should provide guidance around Security policies/process(s), controls and guidelines aligned to business needs.
  • Engaged in Security Architecture reviews.
  • Manage and oversee Vulnerability assessment and Penetration testing remediation
  • Engage with leadership and stakeholders on a periodic basis.
  • Should provide adequate advice to the Customer, related to various security questionnaires received from Customer's clientele
- support in investigations after security breaches or security incidents, including impact analysis and recommendations for avoiding similar vulnerabilities

  • Ensure the necessary skill and competency building within IT and business team, by providing training & mentoring
People Management

  • Ensures capability development for the team through performance management, training, and mentoring to drive high performance and engagement and enable achievement of current and future business needs

Qualifications:

Bachelor Of Engineering,Bachelor Of Technology


Minimum Experience Level:

8-10 Years
