About the Role:
The Platform and Community Associate is a newly created role based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, designed to address the increasing competitiveness in early-stage investing. This position is crucial in consistently earning founder trust before formal investment conversations begin. The associate will bridge the gap by transforming authentic, in-person relationships into a durable network advantage, thus strengthening the firms reputation, improving the quality of deal flow, and positioning the firm as a value-adding, long-term partner beyond just providing capital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and execute a high-quality community and events strategy that strengthens brand credibility and founder trust across key startup ecosystems.
- Develop and maintain deep, long-term relationships with founders, operators, and ecosystem leaders that compound into meaningful network leverage.
- Translate real-world engagement into tangible business outcomes such as improved deal flow, partnerships, and portfolio support.
- Design and deliver high-signal in-person experiences, from intimate founder interactions to large ecosystem forums, creating lasting value.
- Collaborate closely with investment and growth teams to align community efforts with firm-level priorities and opportunities.
- Measure and track the impact of community initiatives through engagement metrics, ROI, and relationship outcomes to continuously refine strategy.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- 4 to 8 years of experience in areas such as Event Management & Logistics, Database Management, Process Automation, Email Marketing & Communication, Stakeholder Relationship Management, and Brand Activation.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of autonomy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for engaging and influencing others.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategies to enhance community engagement and brand positioning.

Early wins would include successfully executing a few high-quality events or engagements, earning trust with founders and internal teams, setting up foundational systems and processes, and demonstrating how community efforts can translate into real momentum for brand, pipeline, and partnerships. The firm should already feel a visible, positive shift in how it shows up on the ground.
