Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced PLM-Teamcenter-Consultant with a strong background in installing, configuring, and upgrading Teamcenter environments (2T, 4T, Active Workspace, FMS, Dispatcher, Microservices). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BMIDE, functional knowledge of key Teamcenter modules, and expertise in Teamcenter administration activities. Experience with CAD and ERP integrations, build processes, and CI/CD for Teamcenter deployments is also highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade Teamcenter in both 2-Tier (2T) and 4-Tier (4T) architectures.
• Implement and manage Active Workspace (AWC), FMS (File Management System), Dispatcher, and Microservices within the Teamcenter environment.
• Install and configure databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) for Teamcenter, including performing backups and imports.
• Possess hands-on experience in BMIDE (Business Modeler IDE) configuration to upgrade and customize projects.
• Apply strong functional knowledge of key Teamcenter Modules, including:
• Access Manager for security and permissions.
• Workflows for process automation.
• Structure Manager for product structure management.
• Report Builder for custom reporting.
• PLMXML for data exchange.
• Change Management for engineering changes.
• Query Builder for data retrieval.
• Demonstrate knowledge of server-side customization, SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) customization, and RAC (Rich Client Application).
• (Additional Advantage) Possess experience in AWC (Active Workspace) customization.
• Perform Teamcenter Administration activities, including importing/exporting administrative data objects using Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) utilities.
• Apply knowledge of build processes and the ability to create build scripts for automated deployments.
• Provide valuable insights into Teamcenter deployment infrastructure planning, ensuring scalable and robust environments.
• Gain experience in CAD integrations (e.g., Solid Edge, NX, CATIA, SolidWorks) and ERP integrations (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS), including their datamodel/attribute mappings.
• Possess knowledge in installing and configuring Teamcenter Deployment Center for CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment).
• (Added Advantage) Have cloud knowledge relevant to Teamcenter deployments or integrations (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in Installing, configuring, upgrading Teamcenter in 2T and 4T, Active workspace, FMS, Dispatcher and Microservices.
• Experience in installing database and taking the backups and imports.
• Hands on Experience in BMIDE configuration to upgrade the custom projects.
• Functional knowledge of TC Modules: Access Manager, Workflows, Structure Manager, Report Builder, PLMXML, Change Management and Query builder.
• Knowledge of server side customization, SOA customization and RAC.
• Experience in Teamcenter Administration activities like importing/exporting admin data objects using OOTB utilities.
• Knowledge of build processes, create build scripts.
• Ability to provide insights into Teamcenter deployment infrastructure planning.
• Experience on CAD integrations, ERP integrations and their datamodel/attribute mappings.
• Knowledge in installing and configuring Teamcenter Deployment center for CI/CD.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWC (Active Workspace) customization experience.
• Cloud knowledge.
