Required Abilities:
- Business Analyst is responsible to deliver software solution by supporting across the software development life cycle. Collaborates with business stakeholders to identify business needs, research and draft business case. Elicit and analyze requirements using various techniques, translates it into actionable user stories and prioritize backlog. Acts as facilitator between business stakeholders and development team. Required Knowledge:

Conceptualization phase
- Collaborating with business stakeholder to identify business problems and opportunities
- Researching and presenting a business case with expected benefits (ROI)
- Eliciting business requirements using various techniques (like Interview, workshop, surveys and others)
- Drafting functional and nonfunctional requirements
- Using various business models (Flow charts or diagrams) to analyze requirements and processes
- Formulating the main backlog, creating product roadmap and determining release plan
Solution Design phase
- Drafting user stories with INVEST principles
- Mapping stories with product user journey
- Partnering with UI/UX designers to create wireframes or prototypes
- Establishing acceptance criteria with quality assurance team
- Prioritizing backlog items with product owner
Development phase
- Effectively communicating the requirements to development team
- Tracking the development process and updating the progress to key stakeholders
- Performing user acceptance test (UAT) by validating the work done by development team
Maintenance phase
- Gathering and processing feedback from customer and users
- Formulating the next backlog
Others
- Product demos and user training
- Monitoring and reporting key KPIs to various stakeholders
- Providing guidance to junior business analyst
- New business ideas
Primary Responsibility:

Mandatory
- 3 to 8 years of experience as business analyst
- Ability to write userstories with INVEST principle
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence
- Sound understanding of scrum and Agile methodologies
- Experience using various business models (Flow charts or diagrams) to analyze requirements
- Ability to do competitor analysis and pricing strategies
Nice to have
- Exposure to financial research domain
- Ability to perform stakeholder analysis
- Ability to perform Costs benefit analysis
- Understanding of networks, databases and other technology
