    Key Skills:

    As a Physical Design Engineer at our company, you will have a pivotal role in crafting and implementing advanced semiconductor products.

    Your contribution will be pivotal in ensuring the success of our cutting-edge products and driving technological progress in various sectors.
    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with RTL design and backend implementation teams to foster and refine physical design methodologies
    • Execute floor planning to achieve prime positioning of digital and mixed-signal blocks
    • Utilize place and route tools to secure timing closure and deliver designs that fulfill performance objectives
    • Conduct thorough physical verification to uphold design integrity and manufacturability
    • Enhance power distribution networks and mitigate IR drop and electromigration concerns
    • Create and present detailed design documentation for review and endorsement
    • Engage in design evaluations and offer insights for design enhancements
    • Cooperate with interdisciplinary teams to tackle design and implementation hurdles
    • Guide and support junior engineers while providing technical expertise
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging physical design solutions

    Required Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated expertise in VLSI design and physical design approaches
    • Proficiency in leveraging industry-standard CAD tools, particularly Cadence Innovus and Encounter
    • In-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing techniques and design for manufacturability (DFM)
    • Proficiency in static timing analysis, clock tree synthesis, and power management
    • Familiarity with scripting languages like TCL, Perl, or Python
    • Capability to troubleshoot and resolve intricate design and tool challenges
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for seamless collaboration with diverse teams
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulousness for comprehensive design validation and enhancement
    • Experience in the physical design of high-performance, low-power designs is advantageous
