    Description


    Recrud, acting as a hiring partner for a distinguished client in the education technology domain, is currently seeking a skilled individual for the role of Software Development Engineer III, focusing on Backend Development.

    The client, a pioneer in creating an Integrated School Platform (ISP), operates across more than 25 countries and supports over 15 million users.

    The platform, available in over 20 languages, serves as a comprehensive school management system integrating advanced administrative tools and a Learning Management System (LMS) designed to enhance educational outcomes.


    Responsibilities :

    • Design and develop scalable frontend web solutions utilizing JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, and additional essential web technologies.
    • Create and maintain reusable code and libraries, prioritizing iterative development for future applications.
    • Optimize application performance across mobile and desktop platforms.
    • Establish and maintain monitoring, metrics dashboards, runbooks, logging, alerts, and escalation procedures.
    • Lead code and design reviews for various components, systems, and products, influencing architectural decisions.
    • Stay abreast of best practices in the field and continuously seek new methods to maintain modern and efficient codebases.

    Requirements :

    • Possession of a strong foundation in Computer Science principles, evidenced by a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field from prestigious institutions.
    • At least 4 years of experience in developing with modern web technologies and frameworks, including HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React, , AngularJS, and others.
    • Demonstrated capability to develop a feature independently from inception to deployment.
    • Experience in creating scalable and responsive web interfaces for largescale consumer applications.
    • Comprehensive understanding of platform responsibilities, including databases, APIs, caching mechanisms, proxies, and other web services.
    • Exceptional problemsolving, debugging, and optimization abilities.
    • Indepth knowledge of browser functionalities, performance issues, compatibility, and crossbrowser challenges.
    • Experience with REST APIs and familiarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Grunt, and
    • Proficient in code versioning tools like Git, with contributions to opensource projects considered a plus.
    • A profound sense of empathy for user needs, coupled with the vision to develop solutions for a global audience.
    • Ability to navigate complex problems and collaborate effectively with a diverse team, maintaining a focus on flawless execution.
    • Experience with product scaling is highly regarded.
