Job Title : Senior Executive - Business Transformation ( Data Scientist)

Location : Vikhroli, Mumbai

Role Summary –

As a data scientist, you will be a part of the analytics team that develops data driven insights across cross functional teams across all GCPL's countries to drive efficiency and make strategic business decisions. You will research, design and implement cutting edge algorithms to analyse diverse sources of data to achieve the target outcomes

Your Roles & Responsibilities

• Define, breakdown and solve the business problems across business functions while leveraging conventional & new age data sources, and a wide array of techniques to make predictions on potential future outcomes and support decision making
• Apply advanced statistical and predictive modelling techniques to build, maintain and improve on multiple decision systems and processes
• Partner and engage with business & transformation leads and teams across key functions such as marketing, supply chain, sales, finance and manufacturing to identify, evolve and fully understand the key business questions and deliver relevant insights that lead to actions.
• Work autonomously in a fast paced environment

Qualification & Experience

• B.Tech or Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics or computer science or related quantitative field from tier 1/2 institutes
• 2-4 years' experience in analytics and data science

Skills Required

• Hands on experience in R or Python
• Good knowledge on Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)
• Familiarity with advanced statistical and predictive modelling techniques such as regression, time series, decision trees etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills – able to find various ways to solve problems and decide which solution to move forward
