    Description

    The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for managing the placement process for students, developing employer partnerships, and providing career guidance and support.

    This role is crucial in bridging the gap between education/training and employment, ensuring successful placements and long-term career success for students/clients.

    Key Responsibilities


    Employer Engagement:

    • Develop and maintain relationships with employers to secure placement opportunities for students/clients.
    • Conduct employer outreach and engagement activities, including site visits, networking events, and meetings.
    • Collaborate with employers to understand their hiring needs and requirements.

    Placement Management:

    • Coordinate and manage the placement process, including job postings, application procedures, and interview scheduling.
    • Match students/clients with suitable placement opportunities based on their skills, interests, and career goals.
    • Monitor and track placement outcomes and provide regular reports to management.

    Career Guidance and Support:

    • Provide career counseling and support to students/clients, including resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
    • Conduct workshops and seminars on various careerrelated topics.
    • Assist students/clients in identifying and pursuing career opportunities.

    Collaboration and Coordination:

    • Work closely with academic departments, training programs, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of placement activities with educational objectives.
    • Coordinate with faculty and staff to integrate career development activities into the curriculum.
    • Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry trends and job market conditions.

    Administrative Duties:

    • Maintain accurate records of placement activities, employer contacts, and student/client progress.
    • Prepare and manage placementrelated documentation and reports.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Proven experience in placement coordination, career services, recruitment, or a related area.
    • Strong understanding of the job market and industry trends.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with career services management software is a plus.
