Sales Consultant - The Thermal and Specialized Solution


The Thermal and Specialized Solution (TSS) business at Chemours is a vital part of solving the world's most challenging problems, creating a better, more capable future for all.

Chemours is seeking a passionate, motivated, and solution-driven Sales Consultant to join our high performing team This position will be part of the sales function and report directly to the South Asia Sales Leader - Thermal and Specialized Solution in our Gurgaon, India location.

This position is a highly visible, key role within the company as we drive a commercial excellence culture.


About the Team:
The TSS global sales function is a key enabler of driving growth for the organization.

We have Sales Consultant focused on Building and maintaining business with existing customers and developing new opportunities with prospective customers in key Market Segments.

All these roles are supported by and work seamlessly with phenomenal sales operations and customer service teams to help day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities for the Role

  • Responsible for meeting North India & Fire Extinguisher (FE) business segment Sales and profit objective.
  • To Formulate, develop, and execute Sales strategy for the key market segment aligning with India Strategy.
  • Develop Opportunities pipeline for 24 months to foster future growth and provide complete visibility of key milestones at every stage of its development to all concerned team members and drive for the same.
  • Draft, negotiate, and close contracts with customers, driving strategic pricing outcomes
  • To manage key accounts, & to build and maintain profitable longterm relationships with customers.
  • To study the business environment, competitor's activity and provide all necessary information to Leadership team for product/service improvements
  • Responsible for Accounts receivables and ensuring no past dues.
  • Manage Distributor and Channel partners to grow sales in both OEM & After market segment.
  • Communicate key drivers of customer demand and update accurate forecasts consistent with market indicators while monitoring inventory of the distributors.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience of leading sales, marketing and business development working primarily in Refrigeration, Chiller, compressor, air conditioning or Refrigerant industry segment.
  • Primary sales experience in B2B, specialty, OEM and AM environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic fastpaced environment
  • Should have strong business acumen to drive new business by executing strategies, streamlining networks, and implementing various sales and marketing concepts.
  • Must be highly goal oriented professional and possess excellent interpersonal & Communication skills.
  • Minimum business travel upto 50% of time (dependent on local COVID restrictions)
  • Highly motivated and dependable

Preferred Skillsets:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or science related discipline
  • Science related discipline (chemistry, Polymers, engineering, etc.)
  • Basic sales and negotiations experience
  • Proficient in Excel, Analytical and SFDC skills (or any other CRM tool)
