Job Purpose


The role of Resource - Apparel Design (Knitwear Graphic Design) will be responsible for designing Lifestyle Apparel, Prints, Graphics & Packaging for the Apparel Business.

The purpose of this role is to understand the Brand's DNA and support the Product requirements for the Apparel Business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, Design & illustrate the Graphic Artworks as per the Product & Design brief for all the Motorcycle Launch, Ride events and adhoc Projects
  • Contribute to Graphic creation for the Seasonal Range
  • Design Graphic T-Shirts, Polos, Sweatshirts, Headgear and Sticker Sheets
  • Work through creative briefs with consistent high standards whilst meeting the deadlines
  • Create detailed Apparel Tech-Packs on Adobe Illustrator and PLM Software
  • Work closely with the Design, Product, Sourcing and Quality Teams to ensure a seamless work environment and better product output
  • On time and 100% delivery of Graphic design Concept presentation against the product requirement
  • On time and 100% delivery of Graphic design Range presentation against the product requirement
  • On time and 100% delivery of detailed Design Techpacks
  • Learning and development through handson experience, training modules and teamwork
  • Structured archiving and documentation of all collateral designed for every project
  • Frequent market and vendor visits to understand market, consumer and product better
Work Experience

Education

Bachelors in Fashion Design / Knitwear Design or Textile Design (Preferably from FDDI / NIFT / NID / UGC affiliated Design College)

Experience

  • Work experience of 24 years in Apparel, Print & Graphic Design.
  • Good freehand drawing, sketching and painting skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop.
  • Proficient with Viacom/digital Graphic creation mediums and tools.
  • Understandings of Menswear & Womenswear garment construction.
  • Creative thinker, good aesthetics and a strong color & Font's sensibility.
  • Excellent attention to details and a perfectionist.
  • Multitasker, ability to deliver projects ontime; adaptable to different work environments and a quick learner.
  • Keen towards the evolving trends, uptodate with the technologies and processes of the Apparel Industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and language skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as with the Team.
  • Hardworker and eager to addon to knowledge base and skills.
  • A Rider with a real passion for motorcycles and riding gear/apparel.
