Job Description
Being responsible for diagnosis of vision problems of the patient, taking the case history in
prescribed format and with the help of clinical equipment give the best possible correction
to the patient and suggest him appropriate vision aids like spectacles or contact lenses
∙To suggest appropriate spectacle lenses, to upgrade existing lenses and take appropriate
measurements and recommend appropriate frame
∙Measure customers for size of eyeglasses and coordinates of frames with facial and eye
measurements and optical prescription
∙Give additional information on the conditions experienced by the patients with their vision
and provide best possible solutions

∙Verify accuracy of finished lens spectacles

∙Suggest appropriate contact lenses as per the requirements of the patient

∙Assist the patient with inserting, removing, and caring for contact lenses and provide them
practice sessions for the same

∙Informed patients of their conditions and referred them to ophthalmologists if disorders or
diseases are detected

∙To maintain and check the patients records and send appropriate reminders

∙To manage contact lenses and accessories stock and demand replenishment on time

∙Look after the clinical equipment

∙Assist counter sales staff in explaining technical details and resolve technical queries, if
required

Requirements:

Education - Diploma, Bachelor, Masters

Experience - Minimum 2+ Years of Experience in RETAIL Optometry (Pure Hospital
background profiles will not be considered)

Personality Check - Presentable, Communicative, English Speaking Ability

Salary:
From ₹30,000.00 per month
