Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Kochi for a Wordpress Developer. As a Wordpress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom WordPress themes and plugins. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement website functionality, optimize websites for speed and performance, and ensure responsive design across different devices. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and debug issues, conduct website updates and maintenance, and adhere to best practices for web development.

Qualifications

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Experience with WordPress development and customization
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) and JavaScript libraries (e.g., jQuery)
• Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first development principles
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with plugin development and understanding of WordPress APIs is a plus
• Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop) is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred
