Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive English language curriculum and lesson plans tailored to the needs of university students.
Deliver engaging and interactive English communication sessions using a variety of teaching methods and materials.
Conduct regular assessments to evaluate students' language proficiency levels and track their progress.
Provide individualized feedback and support to students to help them improve their English language skills.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to language acquisition and cultural exchange.
Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate English communication skills into relevant academic programs and courses.
Stay updated on developments in English language teaching methodologies and incorporate innovative approaches into teaching practices.
Organize extracurricular activities, workshops, and events to promote English language learning and cultural understanding among students.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and assessment results.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and university committees as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in English Language Teaching, Applied Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
Proven experience teaching English as a second language to diverse groups of learners, preferably in a higher education setting.
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective language learning activities and assessments.
Proficiency in using technology for teaching and learning purposes.
Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for continuous professional development.
Experience living or working in a multicultural environment is an advantage.
