    Description

    About the Department:


    Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.

    It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG.


    An Associate in the Tourism Sector team, will play a crucial role in supporting our efforts to attract strategic investments and promote growth in the tourism sector.

    The responsibilities will encompass outreach strategies, research, and collaborative initiatives.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the Team in outreach strategies to attract investments in the tourism sector.
    • Conduct research on Geographic potential in Tourism
    • Lead Medical Value Tourism avenues, and its growth in specific states
    • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with government authorities, industry associations, and investors to facilitate investmentrelated activities.
    • Participate in meetings, workshops, and events to promote investment opportunities in the tourism sector.
    • Collaborate with team members on various projects and initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor/Master's degree in Business, Economics, Tourism Management, or a related field.
    • Atleast 12 years of experience in Tourism or Government Advisory Sector or Wellness Industry
    • Strong analytical and research skills.
    • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Knowledge of investment promotion and the tourism industry is a plus.
