    Description


    As a Principal Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading and mentor our talented team of software engineers to deliver high-quality software products that meet the needs of our customers.

    You will be responsible for development and maintenance of features within our product stack which is built ground up from the OS and includes Cloud Services, Edge Services and Portal (Web).


    Responsibilities :

    • Lead a team of software engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster a collaborative and highperforming environment.
    • Architect, design, and develop microservicesbased applications that are scalable, resilient, and highperforming.
    • Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or
    • Build robust backend services using technologies like , Python, Go, or Java, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.
    • Design, optimize, and manage databases (SQL, NoSQL) to support microservices architecture and ensure data integrity and efficiency.
    • Implement RESTful APIs and integrate thirdparty services as necessary to support application functionality.
    • Write automated tests (unit, integration, endtoend) to ensure the reliability and quality of the software.
    • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance to ensure smooth operation under high loads.
    • Work closely with crossfunctional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver highquality software solutions.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation including system architecture, API specifications, and developer guides.
    • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
    • Monitor and improve engineers' productivity and provide training and development opportunities where required.

    Requirements & Qualifications :

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • 12+ years experience in full stack development, with a focus on microservices architecture.
    • Strong proficiency in frontend development using modern frameworks like React, Angular, or
    • Expertise in backend development using languages such as , Python, Go, or Java.
    • Solid understanding of database technologies including SQL and NoSQL databases.
    • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating with thirdparty services.
    • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes.
    • Familiarity with reactive programming paradigms and eventdriven architectures.
    • Experience with microservices monitoring and observability tools (e. g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
    • Understanding of security best practices and techniques for securing microservicesbased applications.
    • Demonstrable experience in building, programming, and integrating software for highquality capabilities for global ecommerce business, including product, transaction, payment, fulfilment, aftersales etc.
    • Strong handson technical background that can be demonstrated within the teams on the ground.
    • Proficiency in version control systems (e.g. Git) and collaborative development workflows.
    • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Ability to make technical decisions by staying abreast of advancements in related technologies.
    • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
    • Excellent knowledge of the project lifecycle, and Agile / DevOps software engineering models, an Agile & DevOps evangelist who can help mature the organization.
