    Lead DevOps Engineer

    Position Overview :


    As the Lead DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing our DevOps infrastructure and processes.

    You will lead a team of DevOps engineers and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of our products and services.

    The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps practices, strong technical expertise,
    and proven leadership skills.


    Key Responsibilities :

    • Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers to design, implement, and maintain robust DevOps
    pipelines and infrastructure.

    • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline and automate build, deployment, and release processes.
    • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools for building, testing, and deploying applications.
    • Manage and administer version control systems like Subversion (SVN), including branching, merging, and tagging strategies.
    • Install, configure, and manage servers and services such as MongoDB, MySQL, Kafka, Tomcat, etc.
    • Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
    • Configure and manage network services and security measures, including SMTP, firewalls (UFW, Windows firewall, etc.).
    • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
    • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
    • Stay uptodate with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in DevOps and cloud computing.

    Qualifications :

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, with handson experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and infrastructure.
    • Strong knowledge of Subversion (SVN) for version control, including branching, merging, and tagging.
    • Proficiency in Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools for automating build, test, and deployment processes.
    • Experience with server installation, operation, and management, including MongoDB, MySQL, Kafka, Tomcat, etc.
    • Solid understanding of configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
    • Expertise in network services configuration and security measures, including SMTP, firewalls, etc.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and mentor a team.
