Roles and Responsibilities:

To Identify and vetting prospective carriers to build a sales pipeline.
To gather information from clients to determine their shipping needs
To obtain shipping quotes from carriers and passing them on to clients
To book freight service through carriers for clients.
To coordinate the pickup and drop off of shipments.
To monitor the progress of shipments to ensure that goods arrive promptly and undamaged.
To update customer management software to keep client records accurate
To advise clients on potential supply chain issues
To Maintain current knowledge of US freight carrier services and be effective in attracting new customers and ensuring customer retention.

Skills Required:

Must have 1+ year of experience as a Freight Broker in logistics.
Must be able to achieve the target or driven toward the same goal.
Must be Familiar with logistics software, customer relationship management software and spreadsheets
Must have strong problemsolving abilities to find solutions to issues that arise before, during and after shipments
Must have wellhoned negotiating skills to get the best possible quotes for customers
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with carriers and clients located around the world
Must have analytical skills to determine which carriers offer the right set of services for various clients
Must have networking skills to build relationships with prospective clients and carriers
Must have proven sales skills to obtain new clients and carriers and close shipping deals

Salary:
₹30, ₹60,000.00 per month
