JOB DESCRIPTION

SR. EXECUTIVE - PURCHASE

Reports to :
-

Manager - Supply Chain Management


Role Overview :
-

To handle daily purchase related activities and help company is cost reduction through optimum purchases and timely delivery


Activities and Responsibilities :
-


  • To handle local deliveries of products from company to export house
  • To track and monitor stock level in the warehouse
  • Report about stock level to management
  • To coordinate across purchase, store and accounts department pre and post shipments
  • Responsible to maintain accurate logs of all transportation and goods.
  • To prepare weekly and monthly dispatch reports
  • To handle R.M. and P.M. related procurement activities and it's inquiries
  • To negotiate and close purchase deal at optimum price
  • To take Inward-Outward followup from manufacturer (store person).
  • To prepare and issue purchase related documents
  • To record and maintain P.M. and R.M. inward/outward Purchase order entries in software
  • To visits suppliers place for Packing material production inspection as and when needed
  • To visit Manufacturer's place for Finished goods inspection as and when needed
  • To create masters in the software
  • Responsible to place PM orders after approval from Supply Chain Manager/HOD
  • To develop and execute plan for dispatch of packing material
  • To prepare and issue invoice of purchases, Material requisition slip and manage all type of inventories.
  • To maintain production sheet
  • To submit purchase report to Supply Manager
  • To submit a report of complaints/issues to reporting authority every month

Requirements / Eligibility Criteria :

Education:


  • B.Sc/B.Pharm

Experience:


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in purchase

Skills:


  • Attention to details
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Sound knowledge with regards to exports rules and regulations
  • Ability to Multitask
  • Ability to take decisions
  • Analytical skills
  • Should be good in organizing and managing database
  • Should be good with numbers
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Good coordination skills
  • Good communication skills
