Job Overview:


Responsibilities:


1.


Trade Settlement:


  • Process and reconcile daily trade settlements.
  • Verify accuracy of trade confirmations and resolve discrepancies.

2.


Billing and Invoicing:


  • Generate and issue invoices to clients accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Manage billing queries and discrepancies, ensuring prompt resolution.

3.


Accounts Receivable:


  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
4.


Vendor Payments:


  • Coordinate and process payments to vendors in accordance with established terms.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and address payment discrepancies.
5.


GST Compliance:


  • Prepare and file GST returns in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile GST paid and collected.
6.


TDS Compliance:


  • Calculate and deduct TDS as per the Income Tax Act.
  • Timely deposit of TDS with the government.
  • File TDS returns and provide TDS certificates for dudction.
7.


Bookkeeping and Accounting:


  • Maintain accurate and uptodate accounting records for financial instruments.
  • Record and reconcile brokerage commissions, fees, and other related transactions.

Regulatory Compliance:


  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for regulatory audits.

Accounts Reconciliation:


  • Reconcile brokerage and bank accounts on a regular basis.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Financial Reporting:


  • Prepare financial reports related to trading activities.
  • Generate reports for management to assess financial performance.

Tax Compliance:


  • Work closely with tax professionals to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.
  • Stay informed about changes in tax regulations affecting the stock broking industry.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a stock broking firm.
  • Knowledge of stock market operations and regulations.
  • Familiarity with trading platforms and accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) compliance.

Salary:
₹115, ₹533,572.07 per year
