EN-ER-04- S&A Cubicle / Traction Designer

Purpose of the Job
To guarantee the product (traction system, electrical cubicle, power module & switchgear) pure principal scheme (PPS) and the cabling principle scheme (CPS) or Physical Harness from NEO (PH), following the design rules, the respect of the product feasibility, the norms rules, and by the respect of Alstom development process (DFQ)

Functional: Traction Domain Leader / Cubicle Domain Leader
Engineering Department: Traction Design

Network & Links

Integrated in a multi métier team for project or product
In permanent link with Advanced Industrialization, PME, Quality, Sourcing and Shop floor.
In direct link with Harness designer, Customer (Rolling stock) and components suppliers, skill leaders, Mechanical designer, Power, Control Command, Thermal.
Can be in link with central team on multisites and transversals activities (tools deployment, WoW sharing )

Performance Measurement/KPI's

Respect of QCD commitments (Quality, Costs, Delay)
Right firsttime deliverables (No modification due to design error after FEI);
Gate reviews on time
Operational Activities completed with the respect of defined budget
Knowledge matrix.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

To take into account the REX, the norms and the contract requirements into the deliverables
To realize the SPP and SPC or PH from the specifications, engineering bill of material and electrical scheme, by respecting the métier rules,

- standardization rules and QCD rules.

To integrate the linked métier requirements: Advanced Industrialization, Harness designer, EMC, and Maintainability
To validate the electrical interfaces with the rolling stock customer.
To realize or to pilot the realization of the PPS and CPS or PH
To be responsible of the detailed BoM of electrical components and electrical datasheets
To deliver the needs in order to launch prototypes
To organize and to pilot scheme reviews
To participate at each design reviews leading the product/project life
To guarantee the use of appropriate template
To realize the deliverable by respecting the Alstom QCD and DFQ
To ensure the deliverables updates in case of modification
To create or to participate to the update of the knowledge guideline, transversal documents which the electrical domain is responsible

- (operator manuals, connectors mounting manuals )

To ensure the terminal ends and the cabling expertise of the product/project
To innovate, to anticipate and to contribute to the improvement axles for electrical scheme design with the skill leader:
Standard métier update
Informatic tools optimization
Electrical domain improvement

Knowledge & Experience:

BTS or DUT Electronic or Electrotechnical. (> 5 years)
Engineer with Electronic or Electrotechnical skills, beginner / junior (< 5 ans.)
5 years in electromechanical components design
Uses of E3S or See One is a plus
Railway experience is a plus.
