Key Responsibilities of a Sales Executive:

1. Lead Generation

  • Continuously build a robust pipeline of prospective accounts and contacts
  • Tap into existing client network for referrals to find new leads
  • Uncover decision makers and key influencers in prospective accounts
  • Research accounts to understand their needs and pain points

2. Initiating Contact

  • Make a great first impression and develop rapport with prospective clients
  • Ask insightful questions to understand their challenges and requirements
  • Qualify prospects by assessing need, budget and decision making process
  • Propose next steps and request meetings to progress opportunities

3. Negotiation & Closing

  • Address client concerns and negotiate on pricing or contract terms
  • Ask for the business and close sales in a professional manner
  • Finalize and execute contracts, agreements and payment schedules

4. Technical and Computer Skills

  • Indepth product and industry knowledge
  • Proficiency in CRM software like Salesforce
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

5. Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • Additional certification in Sales Management is desirable

6. Communication and Interpersonal Skills

  • Confident communicator with outstanding presentation abilities
  • Active listening and questioning skills for needs assessment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional phone manner and networking abilities
