Job Description Summary:
Responsible for architecting and solutioning functionalities for SAP implementation at GE Aviation MRO shops. The focus area of SAP modules are PM, PS, QM and CS. The primary MRO business process area to support are planning, shop floor execution (service & repair), engineering & quality.


Essential Responsibilities:


  • Manage Technical architecture, design and development of functionality under the SAP modules PM, PS, QM and CS.
  • Evaluate all business requirements and come up with solutions that provide an integrated approach for SAP customers.
  • Do Solution demos and presentations to customers & business stakeholders.
  • Provide architecture and design guidance to the development team.
  • Participate in the Enterprise Architecture governance model.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.
  • Coach and mentor team members.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience of minimum 10 years of experience.


Desired Characteristics:


  • 10+ Years of Configuration and Solution Architect experience in SAP implementations primarily in SAP modules PM, PS, QM and CS with 2+ years of SAP S/4 HANA experience.
  • Experience on SAP modules like Service Management, Asset Manager, RSH and IBP is an added advantage
  • Experience on Fiori and ABAP is an added advantage
  • Experience on integrating SAP with external systems (SAP PI/PO)
  • Experience in MRO business is an added advantage
  • Good understanding on SAP Master Data
  • Able to produce functional area information in sufficient detail for crossfunctional teams that work on other SAP modules like MM and FI/CO
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and/or lead blended teams, including 3rd party partners and customer personnel.
  • Demonstrated Change Management /Acceleration capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence across all organizational levels
  • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to influence and build consensus with other Information Technology (IT) teams and leadership
