    Description

    Responsibilities :

    • Design and implement highly scalable, available, and performant REST API services using Java to support a flexible content delivery system.
    • Develop and maintain software solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and extensibility.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (development, project management, QA, and devOps) to ensure seamless delivery of development solutions.
    • Work with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and ensure best practices in scalability, availability, monitoring/alerting, autoscaling, and infrastructureascode.
    • Conduct critical analysis and problemsolving, with a focus on performance engineering.
    • Collaborate with product stakeholders and analysts to refine UI requirements and provide task estimates.
    • Ensure code adheres to standards for accessibility, security, performance, and maintainability.
    • Actively participate in requirements, architecture, and design meetings.
    • Document design artifacts, code, and fixes for internal and external consumption.

    Skills :

    • Java 1.8
    • Strong foundational knowledge of Core Java, Collection framework, multithreading (concurrency)
    • Design patterns, data structure
    • REST API design
    • Microservice Architecture
    • Unit Testing / Test Coverage
    • Exposure to API Performance engineering
    • Significant Experience or Knowledge Required in the Following Areas:
    • Spring/Spring Boot framework
    • MongoDB (3+ years mandatory)
    • MySQL (or other relational SQL db experience)
    • Serverless Architecture
    • AWS Lambda
    • Kafka
    • Continuous Integration/Build Automation
    • Agile development

    Qualifications :

    • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 57 years of relevant experience in Java development.
    • Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Selfmotivated with the ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
