Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Review purchase requests and obtain necessary approvals
- Identify potential vendors and request quotes for goods and services
- Negotiate prices and terms with vendors to obtain the best value for the company
- Issue purchase orders and ensure accuracy of all details including pricing, quantities, and delivery dates
- Monitor delivery of goods and services to ensure timely arrival
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to purchase orders, deliveries, or payments
- Maintain accurate records of all purchase orders, invoices, and related documents
- Assist with inventory management and tracking of goods and supplies
- Communicate with internal departments and vendors to provide status updates and resolve issues as needed
- Participate in the development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
