Responsibilities

Design and conduct experiments in cytoskeletal research.
Analyse a wide range of experimental data ranging from microscopy to spectroscopy.
Write manuscripts and grants for research publication and research funding respectively.
Mentor and train incoming PhD and undergraduate students.

Key Skills

Expertise in protein expression and purification using bacterial and insect cell expression systems.
Experience in timelapse fluorescence imaging to monitor the progress of biological function over time.
Experience in use of a fluorescence spectrophotometer to measure fluorescence.

Qualification:
PhD degree in Biochemistry or Biophysics with a demonstrated record of publication in high-impact peer reviewed journals.
