Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer - Bangalore/Pune/Hyderabad, India - Angel and Genie

Description

• We are looking for a skilled Guidewire Policy Center Developer with a strong background in Guidewire Policy Center Configuration or Integration.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience and a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Java EE.

• Configure and customize Guidewire Policy Center based on business requirements.
• Develop and implement integration solutions using Guidewire Policy Center.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements, design, and implement solutions.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Adhere to best practices and standards for Guidewire Policy Center development.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability of Guidewire Policy Center configurations and integrations.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience with Guidewire Policy Center Configuration or Integration.
• Strong understanding of Java EE and objectoriented programming concepts.
• Experience with full SDLC and appreciation for iterative (Agile) development lifecycle.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines.

• Guidewire Policy Center certification is a plus.
• Experience with other Guidewire products such as Claim Center or Billing Center.
• Familiarity with insurance industry processes and practices.
