• A degree or Diploma in Fire and safety/Diploma in Industrial Safety is required. Wellversed with BOCW, ISO
• Should have sound knowledge of all safety standards as established by the company.
• Experience with construction industry is must.

• Supervises daytoday activities within a particular construction site.
• Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or nonconformity (e.g. not using protective equipment).
• Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
• Ensures that workers make use of necessary protective equipment like helmets, hand gloves, welding shades etc., where and when necessary
• Takes note of workers' safety concerns and immediately acts on them. Brief emergency plan procedures with the consent of the safety officer/manager.
• To regularly inspect facilities, machinery and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards and to ensure safety regulation compliance.
• To develop and administer programs to ensure safety and compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations for employees, facilities, operations and the visiting public.
• To develop and implement safety policies to ensure adequate safety measures for highly flammable storage and its usage at our organization.
• Should have sound knowledge of all safety standards as established by the company.
• Should monitor and implement all the necessary safety rules at the site and work permits necessary.
• Should collect all safetyrelated documents from the site every week.
• Should provide safety training to all staff concerned at site and office.
• Should check all safetyrelated PPE and other equipment at the site by regular inspections.
• Must ensure that all necessary display signs are provided for and erected at site.
• Must ensure that necessary safety parks are established at site and daily training schedules are maintained.
• Should lead and direct safety teams in managing safety rules and processes at site.
• Promoting safe practices at site. Creating and enforcing safety guidelines and programs.
• Conducting investigations on accidents. Verifying that all safety reports are submitted to related government institutions.
• Responding to workers safety concerns. Manages all communications with government departments in regards of safety.
• Coordinates all issues regarding hazardous materials or waste.
• Assisting with the preparation of a construction health and safety plan.
• Attending project planning meetings and collaborating with construction managers.
• Establishing and maintaining health and safety communication structures.
• Testing effectiveness of site emergency response plans.
• Continuous monitoring of all safety related documents reports and issues to keep them updated.
• Conduct HSE induction Training. HSE site inspection. Preparing HSE Plan and Emergency Response Plan.
• Ensure that Safe working procedures are being followed. Maintain all HSE related records and paper work.
• Fire Safety Officer performs regular fire safety inspections of all facilities under their care, ensuring that they meet all necessary codes and regulations.
• They also respond to fire emergencies and arson crimes, investigating and reporting the causes of fire and taking appropriate responsive actions.
