The DevOps/Cloud DevOps Engineer will innovate, design, and develop cutting-edge products as a member of a fun and innovative team that makes a real difference by delivering products are used as part of daily operations.

You will play a key role in defining and evolving the architecture, implementation, and development environment of Telular's IoT platform using your deep knowledge of development operations and deployment.


We are a business unit of AMETEK and a technology leader in IoT solutions for the commercial telematics, and security alarm and fire alarm markets, with SkyBitz and Telguard businesses.

By combining wireless technologies, purpose-built devices, and SaaS commercial offerings, we have been a disruptive force in the IoT market.


This position is offered as a remote position, but we have offices in Atlanta, Herndon Virginia, Chicago and Bangalore India.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Work directly with the development team and provide continuous DevOps support and leadership.
  • Setup, configure and automate CI/CD pipelines for various teams with different needs and tools, both onprem and in the cloud.
  • Work with QA team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and define the architecture.
  • Build and own app configs for all the environments and lock down configs to eliminate crosscontamintation of configs between environments

Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of DevOps experience.
  • 3+ years of experience setting up and securing Azure environments.
  • 2+ years of experience with containerization (Docker, Docker Swarm / Kubernetes).
  • Experience with settingup and/or maintaining queuing/ Pub-Sub services e.g., RabbitMQ / Kafka and/or SQS etc.
  • Proven experience working with Azure CI/CD tools:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and general IIS maintenance.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code (CloudFormation,Terraform and Ansible).
  • Knowledge of Tomcat / Apache and JAVA general SDLC.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with Linux.
  • Good understanding of Git / GitFlow.

  • Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of Microservice architecture and Web Services.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with High performing Scrum teams.
  • Oracle databases.
  • Understanding of NoSQL databases.
  • Oracle WebLogic.
  • Experience with Log aggregation and system monitoring tools e.g., Elastic Stack, Splunk, CloudWatch etc.
- working with cloud infrastructure and managing resources in the cloud.

  • Release management experience.
