Position Overview
We're #hiring


GDCP is looking for Java expert with minimum 5-6 years experience in the Domain for the following technology domains mentioned below.

The role of a Java Expert involves instructing and mentoring individuals or cohorts in mastering the Java programming language.

The main focus is on delivering comprehensive education and hands-on expertise in Java development to learners ranging from novices to professionals.

Key responsibilities for a Java Expert encompass:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java and SQL
  • Provide technical leadership to the team, including mentoring and coaching junior developers
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and solve complex problems
  • Ensure code quality through unit and integration testing
  • Continuously learn new tools and technologies to improve software development processes

Criteria:


  • 5 years of relevant production experience in software development
  • Strong knowledge of Core Java and CS fundamentals such as algorithms, data structures, operating systems, and programming languages
  • Good understanding of modern Java frameworks including but not limited to Spring Core, Dependency Injection, Guice
  • Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unixbased operating systems
  • Handson experience with developer daily basis tools such as IDE's, compilers, debuggers, profilers, version control systems, bug tracking systems, build systems (Gradle, Maven2, etc), code coverage and automated testing tools
  • Knowledge of unit and integration testing (JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, etc.)
  • 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
  • Desire and ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
  • Good interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • B2+ English level

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of serviceoriented architecture
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms
  • Knowledge of CI/CD fundamentals
