**Roles and Responsibilities:
- **
1. Patient Counseling**:
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with patients undergoing fertility treatments.
  • Assess and address the psychological impact of infertility, treatment protocols, and potential outcomes.
  • Provide emotional support and coping strategies to help patients navigate the challenges of fertility treatments.

2. Psychosocial Assessment**:


  • Perform psychosocial assessments to understand the emotional and mental wellbeing of patients.
  • Identify factors contributing to stress, anxiety, or depression related to fertility issues.

3. Collaboration with Medical Team**:


  • Collaborate with fertility specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
  • Attend case conferences to discuss patient progress and contribute insights from a psychological perspective.

4. Education and Guidance**:


  • Educate patients about the emotional aspects of fertility treatments, potential stressors, and coping mechanisms.
  • Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications and stress reduction techniques to enhance overall wellbeing.

5. Record Keeping**:


  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions.
  • Document patient progress, treatment plans, and any relevant information in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
